I never said I wouldn't represent Pakistan, Amir hits back on Hafeez

Former Pakistani Bowler Mohammad Amir has hit back at veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez following the latter's statement on the retirement of the international cricket manager.

Several days ago, Amir had taken an indefinite break from international cricket after reserving himself with the national team management.

When questioned about Amir's retirement, Hafeez refrained from taking his position on the matter.

“I'm sorry, this is a personal decision, and in my opinion personal decisions should be respected. If someone doesn't want to represent Pakistan, so be it,” Hafeez said in an interview.

Amir responded to Hafeez's statement: “You  are the wrong brother. I never said I would not represent Pakistan. I said I cannot play for Pakistan with this management. You] are doing good for Pakistan right now, so enjoy it. "
